This is an example of a less economically developed country,
because you can see the background of an image, which looks
like a slum and you can see dark skin colored children with ripped
up clothes playing in the slums, which is probably their home.

This is an example of a more economically developed country, because you can see the two children in nice clothes playing on a playground. The fact that they are playing a playground, which is probably their neighbourhood playground shows that it is a more economically developed country.

This image indicates an LEDC, where children are playing on train tracks. This indicates that they come from poor families, who are too busy to supervise their children. Also, they cannot afford proper toys to occupy their time, so instead they play on very dangerous train tracks. If you look closely, you can see that the children are very dirty, which often indicates that they are from a poor, developing countries. -Libby

This represents an LEDC country. This is a football match in Somilia, it isillegal to play football in Somalia a sit is "against god's wishes." A country in which you can't even play game of football isn't exactly a liberal nation.

Pieter-In this picture you can see a farm in Ethiopia. You can see that a child is leading the cow so that indicates that his family is too poor to send him to school. The animals are very thin which shows that they can’t feed the cows.

Senada E;
This picture shows the typical sleeping condition in less developed countries. A whole family would sleep together in one room under one or two blankets. They generally have one big blanket or two half sized ones. Beneath them, would be the bare floor or mats made of straw.

Rich: This shows MEDC, because the girl is swinging on the swing, modern infrastructure of the swing , and dressed code shows that they have higher living standard, and she is white.
Poor: This shows LEDC, because the boy is swinging on the tree, which shows lacks of infrastructure and it is agricultural, the boy is only suited with his underwear, which shows poverty that he do not get clothes to wear, and he is black.

Guatemala woman harvesting oranges. This shows a less developed country, because the women harvest the oranges by hand and her clothes look old and dirty. Her skin color is dark, which means she’s used to the hot weather. In grass in the back is very dry, that means that they don’t have enough water to take care of it.

1st Image- Favela in Sao Paulo, Brazil:
This picture shows how poverty is present in relatively developed cities as well. The family has assembled a mini market to obtain some sort of income and the child is working, whereas he should be studying and getting a proper education. There are additional indicators like the poor quality of the market and the boy’s skin color support .
2nd Image- Hotel in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil:
Contrary to the above image, this is in the same country; however this is an extremely luxurious hotel. We can suggest that the woman who is sunbathing is very wealthy. She also has light skin color, different from the small boy, she seems relaxed, stress-free and she appears to be reading a book, which indicates she is quite knowledgeable or at least knows how to read.

Less Economically Developed Country: Slums of Mumbai, India One look at this picture and someone would immediately think that this is defiantly a poor country. This is because of the conditions that this young girl is living in. Tin shacks are built around sewage, she is barefoot walking in excess water and dirt and clothes are hanging around everywhere. Her hair is short, meaning she most likely lives in a place that is either really hot or packed with fleas which would all be very tiring if you have long hair. Men are sitting on the floor outside talking and everything in general just looks very unhygienic. This would be a perfect example of what someone could shape as being a less economically developed country. new%20york%20photography-2[1].jpg http://brooklynlens.com/images/new%20york%20photography-2.jpg More Economically Developed Country: New York City, Buildings, infrastructure, bridges, organization and skyscrapers; these are all indicators of a more economically developed country. Also, there is a girl in proper gear going running by herself which shows that he is not afraid to go out alone because of crime or dangerous activity occurring within the city. Also, there are two races of people on the bridge, which shows that this is a city with expats coming in for jobs and to help in the growing of the economy. Less_develope.jpgwell_develope.jpg
First image shows LEDC. This is an image of Africa. They do not have enough clean water to use, so lots of people drink polluted water and get diseases such as cholera. Also, there are no enough markets which sell water and even though there are, water is too expensive to buy. Therefore, they have to transfer dirty water to use by themselves. Second image shows MEDC.This is an image of living room. There are lots of electronics such as television and air conditioning. -Hyeon-

Less Economically Developed Country: The Republic of Congo in central Africa is leading the way being the Poorest Country today with a GDP-per Capita of $300.00.

This image, in my opinion, strongly indicates a LEDC. This is because not only does the skin tone of these kids indicate a country in the southern hemisphere, which is generally less economically developed than the countries in the northern hemisphere, but the kids are also very skinny. This indicates that they don’t have enough money to be considered well fed, thus it indicates that they are poor or in a poor country. Finally, the kids are reaching out there hands, this often symbolises being needy and begging; in a less economically developed country.

More Economically Developed Country: Poland 242 West 34th Street
http://www.nk.art.pl/pokaz/extremely_poor_country.jpg
In my opinion, this image is a good example of a photo indicating a more economically developed country. This is because of the fact that there are a lot of cars and a typical food chain restaurant. In addition, the grass is very green and neatly cut, and there are even bushes and lamps in the background. Generally, this would indicate a MEDC as LEDCs wouldn’t have the money to take care of grass, or have these types of cars. Though they might have food chains in poorer countries as well, I don’t think there would be expensive cars parked in front of them.
